A cloudy day is my kindred spirit.
I live within the blur of grayness too,
letting its murmurs echo within me.

Their dissonance numbs my sadness
until I can no longer feel it,
or even recognize the word.

Yet, I long for technicolor,
living for myself,
freed to chase happiness like a…
